Visual Arts

The students at Glen Waverley South Primary School attend ninety minute sessions with a specialist art teacher once a fortnight in our well equipped art room.

Students explore art processes and concepts arising from their experiences and the world around them. They use a range of media, materials and technologies to create art work that communicates ideas and feelings.

Students experiment with the use of art elements, principles, skills techniques and processes, along with their imagination and feelings to explore a range of art ideas.

Our students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of art competitions throughout the year. Many successes and presentations have been achieved in this field.
